Technical Signage Artworker

Location: Colchester
Hours: 9am-6pm, Monday to Friday

Role Overview:
As a Technical Signage Artworker, you will work with technical drawings such as surveys and product design documents to create artwork and prepare files for production. Ensuring brand guidelines are followed and maintaining a high quality of work are essential aspects of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create artwork visuals for client approval based on brand guidelines when required.
  • Make amendments to existing concepts, including resizing artwork.
  • Prepare files for production.
  • Develop master templates for use throughout the organization.
  • Interpret survey information and understand any necessary design changes.
  • Produce technical drawings based on survey dimensions for production and installation.

Beneficial Skills and Experience:

  • A keen interest in design, technical drawings, and how things are constructed, with experience in product or signage design.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
  • Strong retouching, visualization, layout, and typographical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.

Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge of signage production.
  • Familiarity with various materials.
