Initial contact and screening
You can register with us online
here,
contact us or visit our office. We might ask you to come into the agency to meet in person, during which we will ask for your details, including your work history and your skills, and also discuss your job interests.
Entry onto the database
Once you are registered, you will be on our database. We will keep your CV on file so it's ready when other opportunities arise. We may also recommend roles for you to apply to when they crop up.
Guidance and support
Whilst we are always on hand to support you throughout the whole recruitment process, we can also help you out in the early stages to make you more appealing to recruiters. Whether you need help writing your CV or you are looking for interview tips, we have a wealth of resources available to you. See
Resources.
Finding out about new roles
When companies contact Top Job with a new role, we will go through our database of candidates. If we feel you could be a potential candidate for the role, we will contact you with information about the role and ask if it is something that interests you. We may also put the job advert online. See
Find a Job for current vacancies.
Apply for a role
If you want to apply for the role, we will then forward your details to the hiring company. The company looks through the applications and will invite favourable candidates to attend an interview.
Interviews
If you are successful, you may be invited to interview. The interview could be by phone, in person or a video interview, depending on the employers preferred method.
Placement
If you are successful, congratulations! At this stage we will help you with preparing for your first day
