We are looking for caring, empathetic individuals who can really make a house a home for the children we are supporting. A can do attitude and striving to give children the best opportunities in life. No two days are the same in this job but you will make a difference every day, no matter how small.

Your day could look like;

• Supporting the children to school in the morning after making sure that they have had a good breakfast to start their day
• Taking a trip to the shops with the children to buy the weekly shop for the house
• Arranging and supporting children to medical appointments
• Spending the day at the beach on a sunny weekend
• Supporting a young person to try new activities
• Helping a young person to deescalate from a challenging situation, making sure they feel safe and secure.

What we are looking for in you

• A caring and enthusiastic individual
• Level 3 qualification in Residential Child Care or related area
• Full UK driving licence with 2 years driving experience
• Available for full time (37.5 hours) including over weekends as per the rota
• Experience within health and social care settings
• You must be 21 years old or over
