Job Title: Small Works Estimator

Salary: £30,000 - £60,000, depending on experience

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Small Works Estimator. The ideal candidate will have experience managing projects valued up to £500,000 - £600,000. This role involves working on a variety of project types, including domestic, insurance, and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate take-offs and Bills of Quantities for a range of small works projects.
• Compile rates and conduct basic tender pricing for various project types.
• Analyse and compare subcontractor quotes to ensure competitive pricing and quality.
• Collaborate with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure project specifications and requirements are met.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in estimating for domestic, insurance, and commercial projects.
• Strong ability to produce take-offs and Bills of Quantities.
• Competence in rate compilation and tender pricing.
• Experience in analysing and comparing subcontractor quotes.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
