Job Description: SEO Account Manager

A motivated and proactive individual is sought to join a talented team as an SEO Account Manager. The role involves managing client accounts and overseeing SEO and other digital marketing strategies for various clients across a vast range of industries.

Role Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will work closely with Senior Account Managers and the Head of SEO to implement and oversee SEO strategies, as well as assist with other digital marketing campaigns to meet clients’ business objectives. Duties will include:

• Supporting the digital marketing team in delivering outstanding service
• Helping to retain and grow client accounts
• Taking responsibility for the quality of work carried out
• Maintaining excellent communication with clients

Location and Working Hours:

This role is office-based at the Head Office in Great Baddow, just outside of Chelmsford. Working hours are 9am – 5pm Monday to Thursday, and 9am – 4pm on Friday.

Salary:

Salary is dependent on experience.

Skills & Experience:

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

• Minimum of three years’ experience in a similar role
• High-level understanding of the principles of SEO
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to meet with clients regularly
• Hands-on approach to working with clients, always seeking to improve their SEO and digital marketing campaigns
• Ability to multitask and handle multiple client campaigns simultaneously
• Team player, actively engaging with the wider team
• Proactive self-starter, keen to take on additional responsibility
• Motivated and willing to learn
• Analytical mindset
• Presentable and punctual
• Passionate and eager to learn more about the digital marketing industry
• Close attention to detail

Essential Requirements:

• Past agency experience and experience in a fast-paced environment working on multiple projects at once
• Proficiency in Google Analytics and Google Search Console
• Ability to create and deliver digital marketing plans for various campaigns
• Overall understanding of the digital marketing industry

Training will be provided to the right candidate on the following:

• Google AdWords
