We are currently recruiting on behalf of a school in a village near Colchester for a School Cleaner to join their team. This is a part-time, evening position with hours from 16:30 to 19:00, Monday to Friday, offering an hourly rate of £11.44.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensuring the cleanliness of classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and other school areas.
• Sweeping, mopping, dusting, and removing waste.
• Maintaining cleaning equipment and ensuring it is used safely.
• Following all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for students and staff.

Essential Requirements:

• A valid DBS check for both adults and children
• Ideally, registered on the DBS Update Service.
• Previous cleaning experience, preferably in a school or similar setting, is highly desirable.
• A strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
