Top Job Recruitment are looking for a Radan Program Designer for a manufacturing company based in Severalls Industrial Estate

You will be fully involved with programming, the coordination and control of the manufacturing processes for a bespoke architectural metal Company. You will also be involved with the design of the products, so a strong knowledge and experience of Solidworks or/and Inventor is required.

Job Role:

• Responsible for programming CNC machines according to provided drawings/hand sketches,
• RADAN programming for Trumantic T-500, Water Jet Flow Mach2, Safan Challenger, Drilling and Milling centre SBZ130,
• Creating and issuing BOM, cutting lists and machine set up sheets
• Checking drawings and completing all information necessary for manufacturing
• Liaise with design, lighting department and production
• Designing architectural meta products
• Being able to meet reasonable time scales
• Timings to assist in the production

Skills Needed:

• Background in working with sheet metal and ability to distinguish material types and finishes including Aluminium, Steel and Stainless Steel.
• RADAN CNC programming (3D modeling, flat developing, tooling, nesting) is desired  
• SolidWorks (3D modeling and technical drawings) is essential
• Importing, exporting to various format e.g. DXF, DWG,
• Excellent understanding of the technical drawings
• Resolving production issues
• Structural awareness
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
