Job Title: Quality Assurance (QA) Warehouse Operative
Division: Test & Repair
Reports to: QA Team Leader

Wokring hours :Monday to Friday 8:30-17:30

Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance (QA) Warehouse Operative to join our client’s Test & Repair team. The QA department ensures all data is removed from IT assets, verifies for data media, and checks for failed hard drives to ensure complete data security. This is a hands-on role that requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual with a willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect assets for data media such as SD cards, SIM cards, and USB drives
  • Accurately identify manufacturer information, brand, model, and serial numbers
  • Verify Global ID numbers against current job records
  • Conduct software-based data wiping and generate test reports for full item specifications
  • Wrap, stack, and relocate pallets within the warehouse
  • Use Hand Held Terminals (HHT) for inventory management
  • Assign assets to batches and verify erasure reports
  • Assist other departments in locating missing stock
  • Proactively identify and solve problems or inefficiencies in current processes
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Requirements:

  • General knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office, with the ability to input data efficiently
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with other departments
  • Keen attention to detail to ensure quality standards are consistently upheld
  • Ability to recognize a wide range of data-bearing devices
  • Experience using data erasure tools for wiping devices is essential
  • Ability to understand and follow company policies and procedures
  • Willingness to take on additional roles as needed in response to production demand

This is an active, physically demanding role that involves heavy manual lifting.
