Mechanical Maintenance Engineer (Manufacturing)

Clacton-on-Sea, Essex

Competitive Salary + Company Pension

Monday to Friday days-based role 08:30 to 17:00 with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break in between.

Mechanical maintenance Engineer with proven electrical knowledge required within a successful manufacturer offering long term job security and potential for career advancement in line with company growth.

This hands-on role will be suited to engineers from a manufacturing/production background.

All experience levels will be considered with time spent in relevant engineering environments. You will be able to cover CNC machinery new and old. Along with in-house built machines.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintaining, modifying and repair on all mechanical, pneumatic elements of the machinery onsite.

The company are in a period of growth with expansion of teams in various areas of the business, they are a specialised producer of precision composite materials and provide a niche product range to a global customer base. The successful candidate will benefit from secure employment and training and development can be provided for the right person.

The Role in Brief:

* Fault finding machine breakdowns across our factory.

* Able to perform planned preventive maintenance tasks on machinery

* New mechanical installations and repair/modification when required

* Project work for machine and facility upgrades

* Machining and welding

The Person Required:

* Experienced mechanical Engineer with proven electrical knowledge from a manufacturing background

* Single and 3 phase systems experience

* Strong proven pneumatic experience

* Be able to understand and interpret mechanical and electrical diagrams and schematics

* Proven hydraulic experience

* All experience levels considered within relevant engineering environments   

* CAD design advantageous

* Driving license

* Proven manual mill and lathe experience
