Top Job Recruitment are currently recruiting a Machine Operator for a leading Manufacturing company based in Clacton-on-sea working within the Screw Extrusion Department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate, set and run extrusion lines
• High standard of cleaning and rebuilding
• Start and Close down extruder lines
• Undertake minor running repairs
• Advising engineering department on and major repairs
• Product testing equipment
• Liaise with department supervisor
• Load Hopper and transfer polymer to storage racks

Required Capabilities:

• Machine Setter experience preferred but not essential
• Experience within technical production
• Good attention to detail
• Knowledge of extrusion, injection moulding and profile extrusion
• Able to work under own initiative
• Able to work part of a team
• Adhere to HSQE standard

Full time Monday to Friday

Days and Nights

Day 6am – 2.30pm

Night 9.15pm – 6.15am

There is also opportunity for overtime within this position.
