Top Job Recruitment are looking for a full time Laundrette Supervisor for a Laundrette business based in Colchester, Essex.

Our client is a Laundry service in Southend and Marble Arch which has recently opened a new branch in Colchester, they are expanding due to a hotel contract.

As a Laundrette Supervisor you will assist the owner in looking after the Colchester branch, due to the owner now having multiple branches.

Laundrette Supervisor Job Role

• Supervision of a growing team 2 laundry workers and 1 driver currently
• Dealing with simple invoices
• Providing quote’s and price list’s
• Answering the telephone, inbox management and scanning
• Research and call head offices of large hotels and apartment’s offering services
• Following up with emails to the head offices
• Aim to reach 10 company head offices a day to offer laundry-contracted services
• Book meetings to see sites that require laundry services

Laundrette Supervisor Skills Required

• Driving license and own vehicle desirable but not essential
• Supervisory/ management experience
• Laundry/ Hotel experience
• Organisational skills
• IT Literate
• Confident making calls to offer services

Laundrette Supervisor Perks and Benefits

• Flexible on agreed working hours which can be 9am – 5pm or 10am – 6pm Monday – Friday.
• On-site parking

As a starting salary the owner is willing to offer 20 – 22k per annum depending on experience, as the branch is not running to its full capacity currently.

Once it is busier a salary of 25 – 28k per annum can be discussed depending on experience.
