Our client manages a wide range of projects, including insurance-related repairs and building contracts for various sectors such as education, commercial, and healthcare. Their expertise includes handling fire, flood, and building damage claims alongside some of the leading insurers in the UK.
Job Description:
Our client is seeking an experienced Surveyor to join their team. This role involves assessing and managing projects related to insurance claims and building works. The successful candidate will have experience working in a dynamic, reactive environment and will play a key role in ensuring the smooth execution of projects. Experience in insurance repairs is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct through site inspections to assess the extent of damage for insurance claims related to fire,flood and other building damages.
• Compile accurate, detailed reports and estimates for for repair work to insurance claims processes.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships by addressing their needs and striving to exceed their expectations.
• Review and validate insurance claims submitted by clients, ensuring their accuracy and compliance with policy guidelines.
Qualifications:
• Experience working in a reactive environment, particularly within insurance repairs, is an advantage.
• Familiarity with tools such as Xactware or Symbility is a plus but not essential.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team.
