Job Description:
As an Estimator, you will play a critical role in the pricing and quoting process for aluminium windows, doors, and glazing projects. You will be responsible for providing accurate and timely estimates that meet the needs of their diverse clients. Working closely with the sales, production, and installation teams, you will ensure that all estimates reflect the highest standards of quality and align with project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for aluminium windows, doors, and associated glazing projects.
• Interpret architectural drawings, technical specifications, and project requirements.
• Liaise with homeowners, trade clients, developers, and specifiers to clarify project details and ensure accurate quotes.
• Conduct site visits, when necessary, to assess project scope and specific requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams (sales, production, and installation) to ensure quotes are aligned with production capacities and timelines.
• Monitor and manage multiple estimates simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining client communication.
• Review supplier pricing to ensure competitive and accurate costings.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, product developments, and competitor pricing.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Estimator in the aluminium window and door industry is essential.
• Strong knowledge of aluminium systems, products, and associated glazing.
• Ability to interpret and analyse architectural drawings and project specifications.
• Proficient in using estimating software and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word).
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work efficiently under tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with trade, developers, and specifiers.
• Familiarity with the glazing and construction industry standards.
