Top Job Recruitment are working on behalf of one of their Clients who are searching for an experienced Customer Service Coordinator for their Office in Harlow, Essex.

MAIN WORKING RELATIONSHIPS

This role involves reporting to the Administration Supervisor and collaborating closely with the warehouse team and customers.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

The Customer Service Coordinator serves as the primary contact for customers, addressing any issues or concerns related to the receiving, storing, and shipping of goods.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Utilize the most effective communication methods when acting as the first point of contact for all customers.
  • Foster and maintain strong working relationships with customers to explore additional business opportunities.
  • Engage with customers to gather necessary information, ensuring that all requirements are understood and met.
  • Coordinate with customers and colleagues to ensure all necessary documentation is received within the required timeframes.
  • Track the progress of customer orders and provide timely updates to customers.
  • Assist the sales team by handling, processing, and following up on rate quotations within the deadlines set by management.
  • Proactively reach out to customers, offering assistance with any issues they may encounter, and providing professional advice on ETAs, expected deliveries, and other requirements.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by management to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the department.

CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT

  • Collaborate with colleagues to continuously enhance processes and improve business performance.
  • Support role changes necessary to advance the department and the business.
  • Work towards achieving personal objectives set during appraisals and/or those established monthly or quarterly.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

  • Successfully meet agreed-upon individual objectives.
  • Understand and adhere to all company policies and procedures relevant to the role.

Location: Harlow, Essex 
Work Pattern: 9-5 Monday to Friday 
Salary: C£28K D.O.E
