Job Opportunity: Credit Controller

Are you an experienced Credit Controller seeking a new role where your skills can drive real results? Join our established and respected client as a valued member of their finance team.

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-focused Credit Controller to manage client accounts, ensuring timely payments and supporting the financial health of our organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and streamline the credit control process to secure timely collections.
  • Connect with clients via phone, email, and written communication to resolve outstanding invoices and discuss payment terms.
  • Efficiently resolve billing issues and disputes to facilitate smooth payment processes.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate client records, including payment histories and credit limits.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to generate reports on outstanding debts and cash flow.
  • Foster strong client relationships to encourage effective communication and proactive credit management.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience as a Credit Controller or similar financial role.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to effectively engage clients and internal teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong Excel skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to work independently.

Additional Information:

  • Location: Office-based position in newly refurbished, dynamic workplace.
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 5:30 pm.
  • Salary: £26,000 - £30,000, depending on experience.
  • Free onsite parking.

Due to location of the office, a full driving licence and your own transport is preferred.
