Top Job Recruitment are looking for a Business Services Administrator for a company based in Colchester, Essex however this is a remote role. Our client is a chartered surveyor.

As a Business Services Administrator you will oversee the central administration team to ensure external clientele receive the best service from the company and to act as a central point of contact for external customers and internal staff.

Business Services Administrator Job Role

  • Dealing with instructions and incoming calls
  • Updating of the computer system
  • Ensuring timescales for queries and service standards are maintained –
  • Prioritising and balancing workloads
  • General administrative duties such as filing, faxing, call handling, emails, excel etc
  • Chasing queries to meet service standards
  • Taking payment and invoicing
  • Management of Post Queries
  • Liaising with customer and co-workers to resolve problems
  • Being a central point of contact for any issues


Business Services Administrator Skills Required

  • Good general education to GCSE level (or equivalent)
  • Computer literate: Word, Excel, Internet – with the ability to learn new systems.
  • Customer Service, Call Centre or Administrative experience
  • Procedure orientated and well organised person
  • Commitment to quality, providing exceptional service & meeting targets
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to plan and structure information
  • Desire to work in a fast paced, busy environment
  • Attention to detail, while maintaining a clear overview of the bigger picture
  • Confident, clear and calm communicator – by phone, face-to-face and in writing


Hours are Monday – Friday 9am – 5.30pm with 1-hour unpaid lunchbreak.

Salary is £23,400.
