Are you an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Operator looking for a new opportunity? We're hiring on behalf of our client in Tilbury, Essex, who is seeking a dedicated individual to join their team.

Role Overview:

The position involves a mix of responsibilities, including:

• Loading and unloading vehicles using a counterbalance forklift.
• Picking and preparing orders for dispatch on our client's vehicles.

Shift Pattern:

This role operates on a weekly rotating shift schedule:

• Early Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
• Late Shift: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM (Typically finishes around 5 PM, with the extra time allocated for any late arrivals).

You will join an existing team of 3. Occasionally, you may be asked to cover shifts if a team member is on holiday.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Starting Salary: £28,000 per annum upon becoming permanent.
• Monthly Pay: Paid on the 20th of each month, or the preceding Friday if it falls on a weekend.
• Discretionary Annual Bonuses: Typically offered in the summer and at Christmas, based on individual and company performance.
• Holiday Entitlement: 20 days per year, plus bank holidays (3-4 days must be reserved for the company’s Christmas shutdown).
• Overtime Opportunities: Approximately every 2 months, with evening shifts up to 10 PM when discharging vessels into the warehouse. Flexibility for these additional hours is appreciated.

Key Requirements:

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift License.
• Ability to work flexible hours and cover shifts as needed.
• Comfortable with rotating shift patterns and occasional overtime.
